Inspiration Override

Something went awry and I mig welded all this crazy molding on this thing. Got a little carried away, but I like the design.

Craftsmanship

I spent some time cleaning up the narrowed sportster tank and planished the welds. I also tig welded on the filler.

Hot Dog Don

AKA Hot Rod Ron stopped by to help me fit the coupe body and excavate the shop so I can work in there. That's his 32 coupe and my impostor 32 in the back.

Bobbed

Trimming back the frame rails to get the coupe to set right on the frame.

Cafe Seat Finale

Final fit and shaping before welding. Now back to Rodney for a couple modifications. I should see it one more time for final finish before polishing.

Crucible

New large size crucible for a special project. Will be able to pour about a liter of molten aluminum. Ceramic coated and ready to go.

Out standing in my field

Here's a picture Cindy from FSK took of me back at the Slab City Riot. Changed things around a bit online. I added a shopping cart to the sidebar of my blog. Will work on new shirts and products as I can. All handmade by me so quantities are limited. Ditched the old website. This seems more interactive. Lincoln Brakes

Whittled out a set of adapters to fit vintage Lincoln brakes onto early Ford spindles. I know someone makes these as a production part, just ended up making my own.

Built the strut and added the fender to my Triumph project.

Aluminum cafe seat update

Aluminum cafe racer seat and electrics box being built in Rodneys shop. His design and fab work. I hammered out the dome.

FSK swingarm

Extended another swingarm, this one belongs to Cindy from FSK. Rodney is working on a Brat style 360 honda for her. Machined hollow 3" slugs tig welded and blended.

Speed Kills

You may meet the nicest people on a Honda, but on an old chopper you can meet crazy toothless meth head old bikers. This dude came on at about 120 mph. He was all wound up. Had some business dealings at the end of the block he seemed to be mildly concerned with. The thing about it was he really knew his bikes. He was the real deal, just perhaps a little distracted by whatever had him so wired. Had that passion for riding in his eyes that only some can relate to. Had to listen but just for a minute.

Bender

Hydraulic tube bender built with an old engine stand and a Harbor Freight air over engine hoist ram. Can't wait to try it out.

Foot in mouth

Fabricated this steel foot for the port-a-power after I blew up the cast one. Probably could have just ordered one, but don't think mine will break. Also sucessfully stuck my foot in my mouth and dissed one of my best friends today. Sorry

Vintage Air Show

Hitched a ride in a Varga tandem to an air show down in Casa Grande. The yellow one is the Varga in faux trainer paint. Varga's were built in Chandler AZ in the 70's. Really cool that I got a chance to do this. Thanks
