Put down the base flake and fades today for my bike. Many coats of clear still needed to bury the flake. I like how it's shaping up.

Who is that goof ball on that old Shovelhead? It's a picture of me at the Haifley Brothers ride. Check out more pics here. Haifley Blog

Close to final tear down
Been trying to get this ready for final tear down and make the paint happen. Still a few things I want to do, but I really want to ride this thing. So close.

Generator Shovel Revised
It will be good to have my bike back, after selling the orange bike out from under it. This is the new chassis for my generator shovel, just starting to look like something. Was thinking of running a mini disk. But after seeing it rolling, I think an old springer drum is in order.

SOHC cb750 Honda Bobber
Spending lots of time in the shop lately. This ones getting close to finished up. 836cc big bore kit. Goldwing dual disk front end. Custom made rigid frame. Hand made oil tank. Way more work into one of these Hondas than building a Harley. Think it's coming along nicely though and it moves pretty good with that engine set-up.

Shelby Cobra Gravel Guards
A very dusty Fiberglass Shelby Cobra replica with some shiny new polished aluminum gravel guards on the rear fenders that I made to fit.
Evo bike complete
Here's the finished evo bike with shaved fender mounts, rigid frame, a Haifley brothers seat and custom pipes. The Haifley's did a lot of the preliminary fabrication on this bike and I finished it up.

Shovel gone but not forgotten
My orange shovelhead came back to me and now leaves again with a cone shovel transplant. 21 inch spool on the front, hand clutch and jockey shift. I believe it has been ridden every day since it left.

Belt Tensioner Modification
My modified belt tensioner at the top. More like a stock chain tensioner. Solved some of the clearance issues on my Shovelhead.

Flywheel Assembly Fixture
Here's what became of the core box from my previous post. My improved Harley Davidson flywheel assembly fixture. I started working on these when Rowe stopped manufacturing theirs. My version is a chunkier casting and drilled for S&S and standard Harley flywheels. Still a little more work and I will have some of these available.
