Bob in Wisconsin

Bob seems to like his new points cover installed on his tidy Evo chopper. Lookin' good. Get some riding in before the snow falls back there.

Chopper Gold in Arizona

Found this Diamond in the rough, way down in Arizona city. Crazy hot down there and glad my old truck didn't let me down. Bought it from the couple in the pic, they were super nice. He was pretty bummed the bike was leaving. But I will treat it right. Plan to fix a few of the mechanical gremlins and do an appropriate period paint job. Was advertised as a Denver Mullins chopper and has all the signs that it is.

Apache Trail

Parts being retrieved that fell off my bike.

What HiWay 88 looks like in Arizona.
Half way, no easy way out.

Summer road trip.

2000 miles on a borrowed Triumph Tiger. Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio. The storm hit Wva the night before I left. Had to double back and get Dad's help with a chainsaw to clear the road before leaving. Stopped for gas just passed Charlseton Wva and ended up driving 40 miles to find some, running out just as I get to the line at the pump. Just got home. Time to get some work done.

Ol' Switcheroo

The long generator Shovelhead is gone. That's my new cone shovel in the back of my truck. Sport bike is gone too.

Arizona Cafe Racers

We crashed the annual vintage cafe racers ride. It was a good time. Some neat vintage bikes. Rode the back way from Scottsdale to Fountain hills. Brains did some shakedown miles on the fresh rebuild. General chopper rowdiness ensued. Tobin was jumping curbs on the old panhead. Tried to keep up with Dave Chrone on his vintage Ducati 750. Arrived with the fast bikes and heckeled the slow guys. Then some side trip adventures. Rode all day.

Over the pond

A couple pics of a sweet Panhead from the other side of the world. Glad you like your pedal.

Wrench

Once a wrench, always a wrench. Good to have grease under my nails for a while. Instead of the metal shavings and welding burns. Brains-mobile overhaul.

Recycled

Triumph oil in frame tank with a bad patch gets a home on Eli's rigid Honda. I made the fender out of a $30 flat fender.

Choppers Rule!

And so does riding fast and doing wheelies.

Super 70's Honda Chopper

Can't keep them all. Best collection of 70's catalog parts I have seen on one bike.

Lamp Post

The X wife always hated the oil rig lamp. Glad I kept it. Goes well with the engine lamp I bought today.

The world of tomorrow, today!

The cars of the future will of course, shape the world of the future.

Fender Restoration

Finished the wired edge on the first of the Healey fenders. One down, three to go. As you can see in the last pic I used four patches to replace where I cut off the fender flares. Tig welded then planished the welds. A little hammer and dolly work still needed, but it's basically there.

Sparkle Sportster

Pointed Brains in the direction of this metal flake fiberglass masterpiece. Looks great on the chrome frame. So cool!!! Can't wait to see it on the road.
